Istanbul, Türkiye – (ARAB NEWSWIRE) – Vecow Co., Ltd., a global provider of embedded and industrial computing solutions, participated in SAHA Expo 2026 alongside its regional partner, SAME Elektronik, highlighting the company’s expanding presence across Türkiye and the wider MENA region.

Held from May 5–9 at the Istanbul Expo Center, SAHA Expo brought together leading defense, aerospace, and technology companies from around the world. At Hall 8 | Stand 8I-16, Vecow showcased its latest rugged Edge AI and industrial computing platforms designed for mission-critical defense, maritime, autonomous mobility, and field operation applications.

During the exhibition, Larisa Tseng, Regional Director for MENA and Türkiye at Vecow, presented the company’s ruggedized computing systems engineered for harsh operational environments where real-time data processing, reliability, and operational durability are critical.

Speaking during her presentation, Tseng emphasized the growing importance of dependable computing infrastructure within the defense sector.

“Anyone knows what we need in the defense industry? We need reliability. We need consistency. We need trusted security,” said Tseng. “Without a reliable, strong brain, can a body, can a robot move? No.”

Tseng also highlighted how modern defense operations increasingly rely on Edge AI technologies capable of processing information instantly at the source.

“Defense entities must be very fast, and must be real-time, quick and immediate,” Tseng stated. “Defense and security systems cannot afford data to be sent back to the cloud rather must process the data immediately on Edge computing through Edge AI.”

Throughout the exhibition, Vecow demonstrated several rugged computing platforms tailored for mission-critical deployment, including military-grade systems designed for armored vehicles and autonomous defense mobility applications. The showcased systems featured IP67 waterproof protection, anti-vibration durability, and military-grade D38999 connectors.

The company also showcased its marine-grade Edge AI solutions for maritime and naval applications, including systems designed for real-time marine charting, seabed terrain visualization, and shipboard integration. During the presentation, Tseng referenced Vecow’s ongoing work with naval applications in Europe, including projects involving the Swedish Navy.

In addition to showcasing its technologies, Vecow emphasized its collaboration with SAME Elektronik as part of its long-term regional growth strategy in Türkiye. The partnership combines Vecow’s Taiwan-based industrial computing expertise with SAME Elektronik’s local integration and technical support capabilities.

“We can bring the global technology with local execution,” Tseng said while discussing the partnership with SAME Elektronik.

With more than 15 years of manufacturing expertise in Taiwan and as part of the Ennoconn Group ecosystem, Vecow used SAHA Expo 2026 as a platform to strengthen engagement with defense and industrial stakeholders while demonstrating the growing role of Edge AI in mission-critical operations.
